Welcome To My Homepage

Greetings all, I am a writer and researcher who is carving out a niche creating useful web sites on a variety of topics.   I started out in research when I was working for an author in the 1990s.  This was back in the pre-google, pre-wikipedia days when internet was on dialup and much of the content we now take for granted, did not exist.

I also did much of my research from books - real ones - before utilities like Google books made it easy for me to find referenes in a few seconds that might have taken days, or which I might never have found.  Still, there's something about learning to do things the old way first, that prepares the ground and (hopefully) gives you some skills.
